Dirty Negative is a collection of photographs in the form of a 40 pages graphical exploration in black and white by Canadian artist, Jeremy Jansen.
Printed using a Risograph, these monochromatic pages allow the photographs to have a uniform consistancy , creating a unique atmospher to exist between the ink and staples.
This project was a year in reflection with the editorial line constantly evolving, standing round trips between the photographer and the editors.
In the end, Dirty Negative echos an understanding of a singular universe. With borders of the mystical and the obscure placing the photographs into an abyss of abstract dialog.

Dirty negative est un recueil de photographies d’une quarantaine de pages sous la forme d’une exploration graphique en noir et blanc.
Imprimé au risograph, ces pages monochromes donnent à l’ensemble une consistance et une uniformité, créant une atmosphère unique qui prend sens entre l'encre et les agrafes.
Ce travail a nécessité une année de réflexion et d’allers-retours entre le photographe et les éditeurs, la ligne éditoriale évoluant constamment.
Au final, ce projet invite à appréhender un univers singulier, aux confins du mystique et de l’obscur, et place le travail du photographe dans une mise en abime inattendue.
