« Bubbling Pitch » c’est d’abord un livre-oeuvre, résultat d’une résidence en Écosse au Hospitalfield manoir où durant un mois Faye Coral Johnson et Mike Redmond ont expérimenté et chercher de nouvelles formes de narrations abstraites.
Cette édition riso, dans sa forme actuelle, est l’aboutissement matériel et pluriel de ce livre unique.
À travers l’impression en trichromie, nous avons cherché à redonner le caractère des dessins originaux, en y introduisant cette vibration si caractéristique de l’impression couche après couche.
Chaque livre est unique car le tri des pages a été fait de manière complètement aléatoire.
Un dessin original, scellé par un film plastique, est glissé dans chaque ouvrage.
Une affiche A3 englobe le tout avant d’être encerclée par une multitude d’élastiques colorés.
Chaque livre est donc unique, sans aucune possibilité de savoir quel dessin est à l’intérieur et dans quel ordre se trouvent les pages du livre.

Chaque livre a été réalisé à la main et de manière totalement aléatoire. Ainsi, chaque livre est unique. Limité à 100 exemplaires seulement. Il existe différentes couleurs pour les couvertures et les papiers. Tout est fait au hasard, vous ne pouvez pas choisir votre couverture ou votre dessin original.
« Bubbling Pitch » is first of all a book-work, the result of a residency in Scotland at the Hospitalfield manor where for a month Faye Coral Johnson and Mike Redmond experimented and looked for new forms of abstract narrative.
This riso edition, in its current form, is the material and plural outcome of this unique book.
Through the three-color printing, we sought to restore the character of the original drawings, by introducing this vibration so characteristic of printing layer by layer.
Each book is unique because the sorting of pages was done completely randomly.
An original drawing, sealed with plastic film, is slipped into each work.
An A3 poster covers everything before being surrounded by a multitude of colored elastic bands.
Each book is therefore unique, with no way of knowing which drawing is inside and in what order the pages of the book are.

Every copy is wrapped in an A3 poster, surrounded by colored elastics, and comes with an original plastified drawing. Each book was made by hand and in a total random way. So every book is unique. Limited to 100 copies only. There is different colors for covers and papers. Everything is made randomly, you can't choose your cover or your original drawing.
