Roméo Julien évolue dans les champs de l’édition, du dessin et de la peinture. Sa pratique artistique prend pour thème le paysage, le théâtre et l’architecture. Le décor, la notion de construction et de déconstruction, de sculpture et de structure tiennent une place importante dans ses dessins et l’amènent peu à peu à interroger l’espace et à envisager le champ de l’installation, non plus comme un support au dessin ou à l’image imprimée mais comme une proposition artistique à part entière.

Romeo Julien works in the fields of publishing, drawing and painting. His artistic practice takes as a theme landscape, theater and architecture. The decor, the notion of construction and deconstruction, of sculpture and of structure hold an important place in his drawings and gradually lead him to question the space and to consider the field of the installation, no longer as a support. to the drawing or the printed image but as an artistic proposal in its own right.
